Pelling Industries Ltd. started in the Comox Valley. Shawn Pelling the Principal (born and raised in the Valley) started working in the trades in the Valley in 1994. He started a siding company with his brother but moved to Victoria to pursue the leaky condo market. This gave him experience in all trades from finishing to drywall, masonry to concrete, and took him to Vancouver and eventually to Whistler. In 2002 Pelling Industries Ltd. was formed and Pelling began serving the water ingress problems of Whistler as well as doing high end renovations and building as a General Contracting firm. Shawn designed the web page that tracks all costs in real time, giving clients access to all aspects of the project. Clients can log in from anywhere in the world or just at work and monitor and be kept apprised of the project they have running!!
Pelling Industries Ltd. is a group of companies that specialize in renovations, building, rot repairs and property maintenance. We have a diverse knowledge base and experience in both Commercial and Residential renovations. Within the group of companies there is a Paint & Drywall company, a Concrete, Tile and Masonry Company, a Roofing company, a General Construction company and a General contracting firm. This enables us to have the majority of trades in house which translates into quality control and timeliness as we are not constantly chasing trades people. We have duplicated the web page and formula that is proven to work both on the mainland and Seattle and the surrounding areas. We are now currently offering our services to Port Hardy, Port McNeil, Campbell River, Comox Valley and the Gulf Islands.
A lot of our success has been attributed to giving “small town” service and pricing to “big city” clients. Now Shawn is returning to his roots and plans to use “big city” experience to better serve his small home town needs.
